Early Career Engineer Competition – Invitation to Submit Presentations for Review
Are you a young Engineer working on an exciting project addressing the technical and operational challenges of future electrical energy networks? You may be an apprentice, student, graduate trainee, researcher, or at an early stage in your career. This is an opportunity to win a place at this year’s Polaris 2022 International Conference and Exhibition, where you will present your project to the conference delegates as “10 slides in 10 minutes”.
Submissions (including those submitted for Polaris 2021 event) will be reviewed by the Polaris 2022 Technical Panel, with the best six being selected as finalists, who will be given free conference registration and will be invited to present “10 slides in 10 minutes” at the conference. All finalists will receive a trophy and have the opportunity to meet Sir Ranulph Fiennes. The overall winner will also receive a cash prize.
Please email a one-page abstract in PDF format summarising the content of your presentation to email@example.com with the subject line ‘Early Career Engineer Competition (Your Name) by the deadline of 31 August 2022. Selected finalists will be notified shortly after.
